SOUTH BEND, Ind.—Jersey Mike’s Subs is celebrating the opening of its South Bend location on January 15 with a fundraiser to benefit a local charity.
The new restaurant, which will be located at 315 W. Ireland Road, is spreading around 7,500 coupons throughout the community for a free regular sub sandwich in exchange for a $2 minimum donation to Habitat for Humanity of St. Joseph County for its grand opening on Wednesday.
The fundraiser will run until Sunday, January 19.
Hours for the new restaurant are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days per week.
The Ireland Road location is franchise owners, brother and sister duo Michael Guros and Lori Kuiphoff’s, second Michiana area location. They also own the location on Main Street in Mishawaka, which they took over from their father who opened it in the 1990s.
