Jolly man in red takes a time out to donate blood

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Santa took time away from his busy workshop to give blood.
St. Nick stopped by the South Bend Medical Foundation Wednesday morning to donate, something he does every year.
Anyone who gives blood this month gets a $10 gift card, or a Christmas turkey. The foundation told ABC 57, O negative is especially needed.
It only takes about 45 minutes to give blood, and one donation helps save three lives.
