BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Just Like Momma’s, located at 456 South Fair Avenue in Benton Harbor, is celebrating the grand opening of its new restaurant on Friday, Feb. 27, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The new location marks the latest expansion for husband-and-wife Josef and Tracy-Ann Bullocks, in partnership with Purpose Church Ministries, building on the success of their existing catering and food truck operations.

The original Just Like Momma’s was inspired by Josef Bullocks’ mother, Mary Bullocks. Since then, the business has expanded to include a mobile food truck and catering services.

The new brick-and-mortar location reflects the couple’s continued growth and vision, with menu offerings influenced by Josef’s missionary travels to Jamaica and Africa.

Guests can expect a blend of Caribbean and soul food favorites, including jerk chicken, Jamaican oxtails, Caribbean goat, and reggae ribs, along with themed nights featuring live music, comedy, and karaoke.

Just Like Momma’s will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
