K-9 helps capture suspect in breaking and entering

The Three Rivers Police Department responded to a call of a breaking and entering in progress at a home in the 800 block of S. Main Street around 10 p.m. Sunday.
When officers arrived, they heard someone on the second floor of the home.
K9 Jake was deployed and a 28-year-old Three Rivers resident surrendered.
The suspect was taken into custody on outstanding warrants, parole violations and illegal entry, according to police.
