Kelly Cares Golf Invitational held Monday

The second annual Kelly Cares Foundation Golf Invitational was held Monday at the Lost Dunes Golf Club in Bridgman, Michigan.

The event featured brunch, a silent auction, shotgun scramble, dinner and a live auction.

There was also a special presentation to the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation and the Lou Holtz Foundation.

Notre Dame Head Coach Brian Kelly said this was a full circle kind of moment.

"Kind of on the backs of Coach Holtz, and Coach Parseghian, we gained momentum with our foundation. So this in a way for us is to give back to their foundations for the help that they gave us to really get our foundation moving," said Coach Kelly.

Coach Kelly and his wife Paqui Kelly started the Kelly Cares Foundation.
