Kids get a taste of the Irish experience

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Kids all around South Bend got a taste of the Irish experience.

The camp was all about getting kids involved in youth sports and character building.

Kids participated in flag football, ultimate Frisbee and kickball.

"It's a lot of fun for us because we get to kind of do what we do everyday and we get to play sports and share that with these young kids that maybe wouldn't be exposed to that otherwise," Mike Golic, Notre Dame football player, said.

On Sunday, 250 kids participated in camp. That is the most ever in Irish experience history.

The program is headed by Notre Dame's Athletic Department.
