Kids ride free program with South Shore Line

ABC 57

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Shore Line is expanding its Kids Ride Free program to include all trains June 29 through July 3, selecting this time frame to allow families to travel together during summer break in the four-county area.

The Kids Ride Free Program allows up to three children 13 years of age and under to ride free with a paying adult on off-peak and weekend trains. In an effort to help families enjoy summer, the program will be available on all trains during this promotion (please note Friday, July 3 is a regular weekday train schedule). No ticket purchase is needed for kids riding free.
