La Casa de Amistad receives $25k grant to support digital skills training

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- On Tuesday, La Casa de Amistad announced they received a $25,000 grant from Comcast to support digital skills training in Michiana. 

La Casa de Amistad's digital assistance program aims to help adults build essential computer skills ranging from navigating online job applications to creating resumes. 

This is the third year that Comcast has supported La Casa de Amistad's program. 

Juan Constantino, Chief Executive Officer of La Casa de Amistad stated, “Comcast’s ongoing investment will allow us to sustain and grow our digital programming. Whether it's accessing their child’s school portal or applying for a new job, our graduates develop life-changing skills that are essential to thrive in today’s digital world.” 

Comcast has made a total of more than three million dollars in cash and in-kind donations to Indiana nonprofits over the past three years.
