La Porte County accident takes the life of a child

A seven-year-old girl from the Goshen area has died as a result of injuries suffered in an accident in La Porte County Saturday.
Officials say the accident involved four vehicles.
The crash took place on US 20 near Rolling Prairie at approximately 10:30 a.m. CST.
Police say they believe weather was a major factor in the cause of the crash, but the accident remains under investigation at this time.
