La Porte County deputies arrest man in connection with February 24 1st Source Bank robbery

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. - Deputies arrested a man in connection with a bank robbery at 1st Source Bank in La Crosse on February 24.
Charles Rootes, Jr., 64, was arrested in Michigan City Wednesday afternoon.
At 3:03 p.m. on Friday, a man walked into the bank and gave instructions to an employee.
He left the bank a short time later with an undisclosed amount of currency, according to the La Porte County Sheriff's Office.
During the investigation, deputies developed Rootes as a suspect.
Rootes is being held at the La Porte County Jail on a $15,000 cash bond on the charge of robbery.
