LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The La Porte County Fair announced the fair board has cancelled the Morgan Wallen concert scheduled for July 14.

The decision was made following conversations with the La Porte County Commissioners, sheriff, county council president and attorneys.

If you purchased tickets to the concert, you will receive a full refund. They should be processed within 10 business days.

The board announced in a press release on February 11 that they were aware of Wallen’s use of a racial slur and it would be reviewing its options.

“First and foremost, the Fair Board does not condone racism or discrimination in any form.  What he did was inappropriate and disappointing and goes against our commitment to being an inclusive organization,” the Feb. 11 press release stated.
