Showers, storms, wind and a cool down
LA PORTE, Ind.--- La Porte County held its annual "Spring Breakout" on Saturday. The event was highlighted by a motorcycle ride to honor veterans.
The event included, a concert, raffles and door prizes, and the aforementioned motorcycle ride. Dozens of motorcycle drivers toured local VFW posts in the area.
"It’s just very memorable. It helps us to remember that we do have a lot of people out there fighting for us, past present and future," said La Porte County Treasurer Reshonda Moore.
Proceeds from Saturday's event went towards Indiana Fallen Heroes.
