La Porte County man captures beautiful time lapse of meteor shower coupled with northern lights

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- Patrick Thompson likes to take pictures as a hobby, and has captured many still photographs of past meteor showers, including last year's Perseid event.
This year, Thompson set a camera up to record a time-lapse video of this year's Perseids meteor shower, and the results were incredible.
