La Porte man pleads not guilty after being extradited from Alabama

LA PORTE, Ind. — A La Porte man charged with burglary is in police custody in Indiana. He was arrested in Alabama.
Brian Thomas was extradited on charges for burglary and receiving stolen property.
Friday, the 30-year-old pleaded not guilty to both charges of receiving stolen property.
Those charges stem from 2012.
He also denied the 2004 burglary charge.
Thomas has a hearing in May.
