LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- Detectives from the La Porte County Sheriff's Office's Criminal Investigations Division are looking into a shooting that happened Tuesday night inside a local residence in the 10600 block of C.R. 1150 W.
Authorities say a male subject was initially taken by ground to an area hospital for treatment, but was later airlifted to a trauma center for advanced treatment.
"The matter was an isolated incident and there is no public safety threat," the LCSO said.
