Lacasa building affordable housing duplexes in Elkhart

ELKHART, Ind. -- Lacasa, Inc., in collaboration with Lifeline Youth Ministries, will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for their State Street project.

Students from Lifeline will help Lacasa’s professional construction team to build three affordable housing duplexes at 152, 156, and 160 State Street in Elkhart.

The ground-breaking ceremony will take place May 19 at 3:00 p.m.

After the ground breaking, attendees will be able to take a guided tour of 146 State Street, which is a historical restoration of a house two doors down from the future duplexes.

Please note: 146 State Street is still an active construction site so only wear flat, closed-toed shoes, if you plan to tour the home.
