LaGrange County lifts burn ban

LAGRANGE CO., Ind. -- The Board of Commissioners of LaGrange County sent out a press release on Friday regarding the county's burn ban.

The burn ban was lifted at 10:30 a.m.

They said that while severe draught is no longer creating a fire hazard, they encourage residents to take the following precautions:

  • Burn only in favorable weather conditions
  • Burn only during the daytime
  • When burning, always have water nearby to extinguish the fire
  • Never leave a fire unattended
  • Make sure the fire is fully extinguished
