The incident unfolded around 5 p.m. on January 17, when dispatch got a shots fired call in the 6800 block of County Road 270 E.

According to the investigation, the suspect, Gregory Kurzawski of Colon, Michigan, fired several rounds at a neighbor on C.R. 270 E. before driving to a store in the 5500 block of N. State Road 9 in Howe.
