Lake effect snow continues tonight and into midday Saturday, with the most accumulation for Berrien, Laporte, St. Joseph, and Cass counties. However, Marshall, Kosciusko and Elkhart counties will receive 1-3” as well. The rest of Michiana will likely see less than 1” of snow through Friday and Friday night. Snow comes to an end for most by Saturday midday, with a few lake effect showers lasting until the late afternoon for areas north of US30.
The next snow system moves in on Sunday. Snow will start midday and last into Monday morning. At this time, it looks like 1-3” will be possible for Michiana. We may see some rain/mix with this system, because temperatures will be close and slightly above freezing.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with lake effect snow showers. Low of 7.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy with L.E. snow showers early, then partly sunny. High of 15.
Sunday: AM and midday L.E. snow showers. Highs near 28.
