The worst of the snow is past Michiana this morning with lake effect snow showers following up in our northwestern counties until about 10 AM to 11 AM EST. Another half inch to inch of snow is expected by the middle of the day from the lake effect. The rest of today is breezy with gusts ranging from 25-30 mph and gradually clearing skies heading into the overnight. Highs on Friday surge to the upper 20s amidst mostly cloudy skies for the majority of the day. Tomorrow night, a system brings widespread snow showers that persist through Saturday. If you plan on driving around the area Saturday, look out for slick spots and patchy low visibility. Lake effect snow begins early Sunday post-system but wraps up quickly.
Today: AM snow showers. High 26.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 2.
Friday: Mostly cloudy. High 28.
