Lake Michigan College delaying their start to the spring semester

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – Lake Michigan College will be moving the start of their spring semester to Tuesday, January 19.

This delay is to give new students time to register for class and so they can help prevent post-holiday spread of COVID-19.

Classes were originally going to begin on Monday, January 11.

“We want to give new and continuing students time to enjoy the holidays, and get enrolled for the spring semester,” said LMC President Dr. Trevor Kubatzke.

With the start date being pushed back, it helps accommodate a rush of new applicants under the new Futures for Frontliners scholarship.
