BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Lake Michigan College is receiving a grant worth $1.9 million.
Funds from the Upward Bound grant are set to make it easier for low income or first-generation students to attend college.
The grant will be doled out over the next five years with approximately $380,000 given to the school annually.
