GREEN BAY, Wis. -- For almost 70 years, Lambeau Field has been the historic home of the Green Bay Packers. The stadium is named after Packers founder and former Fighting Irish fullback Curly Lambeau. That makes the September 6 faceoff between Wisconsin and Notre Dame all the more of a landmark.
