BRISTOL, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Historical Museum will host a plein air art program at Bonneyville Mill County Park on Thursday, June 19 at 6 p.m. The program is offered in conjunction with the museum's new temporary exhibit: Women Artists: Works in the Collection.

“We’re inviting people to celebrate art this summer, and it doesn’t get better than spending an evening painting outdoors in one of Elkhart County’s most scenic locations,” said Jenifer Blouin Policelli, the Museum’s Curator of Education.

Participants will be invited on a short hike around the park, where they can take photos of a scene they would like to recreate on canvas.

A professional instructor will guide participants on painting and all materials will be provided. Space is limited for the event, and registration ends on June 12.
