LaPorte man held on $1 million cash bond

LAPORTE, Ind. -- A LaPorte man has been charged with murder after a stabbing over the weekend.
26-year-old Justin Lower is in the LaPorte County Jail Tuesday on a million dollar cash bond.
Around 2am on Saturday, police were called to a stabbing at Lucky Bar in LaPorte.
They found Marcus Phelps injured in an alley behind the bar.
Phelps later died at a nearby hospital.
