LaPorte Police searching for robbery suspect

LaPorte Police are searching for the person who robbed the Family Express gas station earlier on Thursday.
Police said the suspect broke into a house in the 400 block of Pine Lake Avenue.
When police got a search warrant and searched the house, they did not locate the suspect.
While waiting for the search warrant, Pine Lake Avenue was closed off to traffic between SR39 and Weller Avenue. It has since reopened.
