ONTARIO, Calif.—A large explosion in Ontario, California left two people dead on Tuesday, according to authorities.
A loud explosion was heard Tuesday afternoon in the California neighborhood.
Officials said a large number of fireworks at a house had ignited, causing a large structure fire.
Two people were killed, authorities said.
Areas surrounding the fire were evacuated, according to emergency management officials.
Fire and police officials are investigating the incident.
