Lasa Casa, Inc. opens for business

ELKHART, Ind.--Families in need can now get a little extra help in Elkhart.

La Casa, Inc. cut the ribbon on its new office. The building will be used for community outreach, like fitness and home buyer education classes. The office is located in the old Roosevelt building. La casa told us it's perfect for the community's needs.

"It’s the center of the neighborhood.  We have found that this building gives the neighborhood it's identity," says La Casa, Inc. President Larry Gautsche. "So saving this building, bringing it back to life, really helps support redevelopment in all of the neighborhood.”

He hopes other programs in the area will also make La Casa their home.
