Last day to catch the Blueberry Festival

Monday is the last day for people to take part in the 50th annual Marshall County Blueberry Festival.

This year there are a lot of new attractions at the festival like log rolling, ax throwing, and anything lumber related. As always, there are many food vendors, free entertainment, and craft vendors.
The Blueberry Stomp is another popular event at the festival. It is a 5K and 15K that benefits a local charity. The money raised goes to ASK Ministries, a local Plymouth ministry.

During the Blueberry Stomp is also the Riley Gear Run. For the past five years area firefighters have decked out in their full gear and run a 15K. They are do it to raise money for the children at Riley Children's Hospital.

Last year the firefighters raised more than $6,000 to give back to the hospital. If you are interested in donating, can email [email protected] or visit Facebook for more information.
