Last nice day, big changes this weekend

We have one more nice day with plenty of sunshine but highs are a little cooler, topping out in the middle to upper 30s. Clouds build back in tonight, keep all of Thursday mostly cloudy as well. Mild air moves back in for Thursday and Friday, pushing highs into the low 40s but that doesn’t last for long. Scattered light rain moves in as early as Thursday night, lasting on and off through Friday.

The strong cold front moves in Friday night, turning rain to mix/snow by Saturday morning. This could make for rough travel for Christmas weekend. Lake effect snow develops behind the cold front with snow chances lasting through Christmas day. The arctic blast of cold air leaves us with highs in the teens by Christmas and lasts through most of next week.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy, high of 37.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, low of 23.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, highs near 40F.

Friday: Cloudy, scattered light showers, highs in the low 40s.
