Latest updates on deadly shooting in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -
As of right now, Metro Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that left one person dead.
MHU has been at the scene since early Sunday morning. The shooting happened near Logan Street and Jefferson Boulevard, not too far from Bethel College.
Right now, Logan Street from Edgar Ave to Lowell is closed. Taking 36th Street is one option to get through.
MHU couldn't release any more information about the victim because notifying family is still pending.
Bethel College students tell ABC57 they received alerts about this shooting. Some students say they were frightening knowing this happened so close to their apartments.
