ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – A night of music and comedy is coming to South Bend in hopes to support the South Bend Empowerment Zone.
Edward Mitchell, the founder of Pedigree Entertainment, will be bringing laughs at the Bendix Theater on Nov. 20 at 7 pm.
25% of all profits will be donated back to the South Bend Empowerment Zone. However, even if the turnout is not what is expected, Mitchell still plans to donate $1,000 to the Empowerment Zone.
“Basically, what we're trying to do is bring quality entertainment to the community, but at the same token give back to the community. So, what's happening is we're donating 25% of our profits and every show we do. So, this first show we're donating to the South Bend Empowerment Zone,” Mitchell said.
Mitchell hopes to bring this charitable event to South Bend annually.
