Lauren Spierer lawsuit could be dismissed

A judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed against one of the men who was with Indiana University student Lauren Spierer the night she disappeared.

Spierer's parents filed the suit in June against three men who were last seen with their daughter the night she disappeared in 2011.

The suit claims the men gave Spierer alcohol and failed to make sure she made it home safely.

Attorneys for the men said Spierer's parents have no proof their daughter is dead and that the men were not responsible for her safety.
