BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. - One person is dead following an officer-involved shooting in Hagar Township near Coloma Monday afternoon.
According to law enforcement on scene, police were originally called to the 4300 block of Bundy Road for a domestic incident.
One Coloma Township officer was shot but is expected to be okay.
The 40-year-old man involved in the domestic call is dead.
In a tweet, Michigan State Police said law enforcement with the Coloma Township Police Department and Berrien County Sheriff’s Office were at the scene when the shooting occurred.
No MSP troopers were there.
