ELKHART, Ind. -- Mayor Rod Roberson and local officials provided updates Tuesday on the largest infrastructure investment project in city history.
The converging sewer overflow storage tank project will total five 1.7 million gallon tanks used to help keep storm water runoff from flowing into the Elkhart and St. Joseph rivers.
The fourth storage tank facility under construction right now will also include a large green space eventually open to the public and a bike path connecting Nappanee Street to downtown Elkhart.
