Learn to Play and Learn to Skate programs to launch at Iron Works Ice Rink in January

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Those looking to get on the ice at the new Ironworks Ice Rink in Mishawaka will have the chance to do so in a special way come January.

The Mishawaka Parks and Rec Department will be hosting a Learn to Play Hockey program and a Learn to Skate event at the Iron Works Ice Rink, starting in 2023.

New skaters can lace up to learn every Tuesday night starting Jan. 3 through Jan. 21.

The Learn to Skate Program costs $35 per individual and is welcome to those ages 3 and up.

The Learn to Play hockey program begins on Jan. 5 and meets every Thursday night through Feb. 23.

Ages 4 and up are allowed to participate and the hockey program costs $55 per person.

Each individual will receive a Learn to Play jersey as a part of the fee.
