After closure in 2020, YMCA reopens in downtown
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The 54th annual Leeper Park Art Fair has been scheduled for June 19-20 at Leeper Park on Riverside Drive in downtown South Bend.
The fair will be held Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is free.
The Fair will feature over 75 fine artists from across the U.S., representing work in clay, glass, jewelry, painting, photography, fiber, sculpture and wood.
Judging will take place during fair hours on Saturday. Awards for Best in Show, Judge's Awards, and Merit Awards will be presented Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
The Fair will also feature local food trucks and disc jockey Jim Renner.
Free parking will be provided at the Century Center and there will be a free shuttle service to and from the fair. The shuttle will run continuously during fair hours.
Free handicapped parking will also be available along Park Lane, adjacent to the Fair.
Health and safety guidelines will be followed. Booths will be set apart for social distancing consideration.
Patrons will be asked to wear face masks, especially inside artists' booths.
Hand sanitizer will be available at the Information Tent.
The Leeper Park Art Fair is sponsored by the St. Joe Valley Watercolor Society. The Watercolor Society sponsors a booth at the Fair featuring members' work.
