Lemonade to fight childhood cancer

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- There's nothing like a cool glass of lemonade to quench your thirst on a hot day.

Today people in South Bend are filling up to fight childhood cancer.

As part of National Lemonade Day, Marigold's held it's second annual Alex's Lemonade Stand.

The stand raises funds and awareness for childhood cancer, and the stand in South Bend is one of many that is giving back.

"All these thousands of lemonade stands like I'm doing make a huge difference. Anything that can help small children is near and dear to my heart. I love children."  said Mari Vogel.

There's an estimated two thousand Alex's Lemonade Stands across the country raising over one million dollars over this one weekend.
