Leon Murphy sentenced in 'sextortion' case

NILES, Mich. -- Another teen in the Niles 'sextortion' case is headed to prison.

Leon Murphy was sentenced to seven to 15 years in prison on Monday morning.

He is one of five teenage boys caught up in a 'sextortion' case out of Niles, Mich.

He, along with four other teenage boys, threated to post a sex tape of a girl on Facebook if she did not agree to having sex with all of them.

The judge called 18-year-old Murphy the 'ring leader' of the crime.

Murphy pleaded guilty to 3rd Degree Criminal Sexual Misconduct.

He is the second teen sentenced in the case.
