Leprechauns handing out tickets in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS-- With St. Patrick's Day right around the corner, some people might be seeing more leprechauns.

A Las Vegas police officer dressed up as a leprechaun to test whether drivers yielded to pedestrians.

The officer handed out tickets to motorists who didn't stop for him, with fines for each ticket starting at $190.

The idea for the leprechaun costume came after a November turkey patrolled the streets, and of course Santa during Christmas.
