SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Public Library held its annual Animals of the Arctic Circle on Wednesday.
Children at the event got to see arctic animals up-close - including some reindeer.
Special guests included Silly Safaris from Indianapolis. They taught kids how the animals survive in the extreme cold.
"Anytime you get to see an animal up close and personal and not at a zoo it's always a great time. We love doing animal programs and every time we have them the kids just have an absolute blast," said Alexander Hess-Waldon, the library programming assistant.
The Saint Joseph County Public Library hosts the event every year.
