Lincoln Township Police looking for missing man

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – The Lincoln Township Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating an overdue elderly man.

Stevensville resident Paul Roy, 78, left his home between 8 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. to go to a Baroda veterinarian with his cat.

Roy called the veterinarian on his way to the appointment and asked for directions because he was lost.

He was given directions and his phone died a short time later. Police pinged his phone and it showed that he was in Galien at 8:43 a.m.

Police announced Friday afternoon that Roy was seen at a gas station just outside Indianapolis at 3:35 a.m. Friday morning.

Roy is in a maroon 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Michigan plate of EDB4934.
