Little Debbie makes bid for Devil Dogs, Ring Dings

NEW YORK — Little Debbie Snack Cakes has made a bid for a small part of some Hostess brands.
The McKee Foods Corp. based out of Tennessee is the leading bidder to buy the Devil Dogs and Ring Dings brands.
The company made an offer of $30 million.
Hostess, which owned the brands, filed for bankruptcy in November 2012 and had announced plans to accept bids from rivals.
