Live from Tempe: ASU changes up defense

Tempe, Arizona is the stage for Saturday's battle between Arizona State and Notre Dame who are ranked 9th and 10th, respectively, in the college playoffs rankings.

The Sun Devils are switching things up a bit for Saturday's game.

One month ago, the team suffered its only loss to UCLA.

ASU Defensive Coordinator Keith Patterson said after practice Wednesday Everett Golson is the most mobile quarterback the Sun Devils will face since the Bruins' quarterback Brett Hundley.

Because of that, Patterson says they've been changing up their defense.

“We didn't pressure a whole lot against Hundley so I think it'll be a complete different game plan from what you saw there we're going to keep doing what we do and we're going to try and dictate to them how they can attack us I think that's what makes our defense unique," said Patterson.

ASU quarterback Taylor Kelly said he's been waiting for this game since last year and views it as a payback game.
