LIVE: President Biden speech to Congress and the Republican response

President Joe Biden will address Congress and the nation Wednesday evening beginning at 9 p.m.

Biden is expected to discuss the accomplishments of his first 100 days and outline his next priorities.

What you'll hear the president say tonight is that we really have a once in a generation opportunity right now to seize the moment, to make these investments. To really not only create jobs but create jobs for the long haul," said Kate Bedingfield, White House Communications Director.

Biden will reveal the $1.8 trillion American Families Plan, press for action on expanding access to health car and on police reform legislation.

Senator Tim Scott will deliver the Republican response following the president's speech.
