LMC helping to feed its students with Snack Shacks

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich.- In an effort to fight food insecurity, Lake Michigan College (LMC) created Snack Shack stations across its three campus locations for students to use freely.
Starting in March and led by students, the program is donation-based.
The program recently received approval from Feeding America, which will provide ongoing support to the student body, which has already picked up more than 1,300 items.
