WASHINGTON D.C. -- Congressman Fred Upton met with 4-H students from Michigan on Friday.

The 4-H students are from Allegan, Berrien, Cass, St. Joseph and Van Buren counties.

Congressman Upton met with the students as part of a 4-H program that allows students to visit Washington DC and meet with their representatives.

After a tour of the Capitol building, the students told Congressman Upton about their 4-H experience and their ongoing projects.

Congressman Upton told the students about his day-to-day work in Congress and about his work as the Energy and Commerce Chairman.

The students also got a chance to watch Congress in action from the House Gallery.
