Local and federal officers raid South Bend home, discover cocaine

 Last week, local law enforcement and federal officers raided a South Bend home and discovered a major cocaine operation.

Officers from the Metro Special Operations section, DEA, St. Joseph County SWAT, and the South Bend Police Department SWAT conducted a search of two homes.

22-year-old Saul Diaz was taken to custody and charged with dealing cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.

Inside, they found 61.7 ounces of pure cocaine with a street value of up to $800,000.

Law enforcement also found over $6,000, a shotgun, assault rifle, and two handguns.
