SOUTH BEND, Ind.—A local Chick-fil-A is offering free meals to first responders working during the deep freeze on Thursday.
The Chick-fil-A at Erskine Commons on South Michigan Street originally planned to host the promotion on Wednesday but closed early because of the weather.
As a thank you to all first responders, such as police officers, firefighters, sheriff deputies, and more, the restaurant will serve free meals starting at 10 a.m.
First responders can visit the restaurant until 10 p.m., dressed in uniform, for the free meal on Thursday.
