SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Students and families in the Michiana area are now stocked up on school clothes thanks to the Monroe Circle Community Center and its Back to School Clothing Store.
The event, held on Monday and Tuesday, gave parents and guardians the opportunity to pick out brand new clothes for their kids at an affordable cost before they head back to the classroom.
Students from kindergarten through high school could get a full outfit for just $5.
The Monroe Circle Community Center is a ministry of Granger Community Church.
“We just hope that students of the Michiana area get to go back to school with new clothes, feeling good about themselves,” said Will Meyers, Director of the Monroe Circle Community Center. “That’s less of a distraction for them so that they can learn and be engaged in school with their peers.”
